Pi Network (Pi Coin) currently has a price of USD 0.652573 per PI or around IDR 10,966.20 per PI on Saturday, April 16, 2025. The current market capitalization is Rp 76.3 trillion with a 24-hour trading volume of Rp 1.04 trillion. Pi has decreased by 0.18% in the last 24 hours with a circulating supply of 6.96 billion PI coins. The price of Pi Coin is still stagnant and shows no signs of a significant recovery despite the surge in prices of Bitcoin and other altcoins.
The daily transaction volume has dropped below USD 100 million, as reported by Coingape. One of the main reasons for the stagnant Pi Coin price is its absence from major crypto exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase, and Upbit. Currently, Pi Coin is only available on platforms like Gate, Bitget, OKX, LBank, and MEXC, which, although fairly known, do not provide the global exposure of Tier-1 exchanges.
The listing of Pi Coin on Binance, for example, would provide access to over 200 million users. Even before the mainnet launch, the Binance community has shown enthusiasm for the listing of Pi. Many crypto assets have experienced significant price increases after being listed on Binance—DeepBook is a recent example that surged significantly after entering Binance Futures.
Furthermore, Upbit is another significant exchange. Based in South Korea, Upbit is known for quickly driving up asset prices. For instance, Orca’s price surged by 170% just a day after being listed on this platform. The third exchange with great potential is Coinbase, which could open Pi to the US market.
Without the support of these major exchanges, the Pi price is likely to remain restricted. Another issue affecting Pi’s price is the planned distribution of a large number of tokens. It is estimated that around 1.6 billion Pi tokens worth more than USD 1 billion will be released into the market in the next 12 months. If the demand does not increase proportionally, this high supply could further pressure the price.
